The Forbidden City
FORBIDDEN CITY, BEIJING. With 980 buildings and 9,999 rooms, Forbidden City is the world's largest palace complex. It was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing Dynasties and was protected by a 20 foot moat and a 32 foot wall. Today, it is officially known as the Palace Museum.
