Norma and Sue Go All The Way
Although we had hoped for a sunny, clear day on our visit to the wall, it did not happen. Even so, the wall was awesome. We were not prepared for the many local people who tried to sneak photos of us. At one point, Carl, Lynn, and I lined up for what must have been 50-60 people wanting to pose with us (Sue and Norma had continued their climb to the very top). Pete had remained behind so that he could sample the local brews for us. Apparently, everyone in China has a smartphone (many have two) and they love to take selfies and pose with Americans, even bald headed ones like Carl and I. China may very well be the selfie capital of the world!
