Hutong by Rickshaw
We rode on bicycle powered rickshaws through the old city Hutongs, part of which date back to the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties (1279 to 1911). We also visited a local family. Our journey ended at the Bell and Drum Square, a gathering spot for local residents, where we were entertained by a famous "thangie tosser".
