The weekend of July 9, 2022 witnessed another awesome performance by the Blue Angels. Held at Pensacola Beach, FL, the Blues began the long weekend with Circles and Arrivals on Wednesday, followed by a full practice show on Thursday. Their "official" shows were held on Friday and Saturday. Each show was preceded by an eclectic assortment of aerobatic and demonstration performances by a variety of pilots and airplane types. It has been reliably estimated that the Blues have entertained over 11 million spectators so far this season.
Differently this year, for photos of the Blue Angel performances, I have created separate Galleries of some of their various maneuvers. Included within each Gallery is a brief explanation of the maneuver.
