DELTA HEAD ON/OPPOSING 360. The Blue Angels begin their performance from far out over the water in a six-plane delta formation. As they approach the Center Point, the #5 and #6 jets disengage from the formation and make 360 degree turns, crossing each other at the Center Point. The four-jet formation continues straight towards the spectators and begins a climb.
NOTE: the Center Point is located just south of the pier where a US Coast Guard vessel is anchored.
