Hurricane Ivan Damage
Hurricane Ivan, which struck South Alabama and Northwest Florida on September 16, 2004 was the tenth worst Atlantic hurricane ever recorded at the time and the worst hurricane of that season.
Ivan caused an estimated $13 billion in damages; which at the time, made it the fifth most costly hurricane to ever strike the United States.
