At Nafpatkos we traveled from the Pelopponese to mainland Greece.
Delphi was a sanctuary that was the seat of Pythia, an oracle how was consulted about important matters in ancient Greece. The ancient Greeks considered Delphi to be the center of the world. Delphi is today a World Heritage Site.
The Delphi Archaeological Museum was founded in 1903. It houses discoveries made at the Delphi sanctuary site. Possibly the most famous item on display is the statue of the famous charioteer of Delphi.
