B-17 TAKE OFFS and LANDINGS. November 17, 2012. Pensacola, Florida airport. Although not the original "Memphis Belle" this B-17 was used in the making of the movie by the same name. Several times during the afternoon, the B-17 took off and landed with a load of passengers, wishing to experience what it was like to fly in this World War II bomber.
Tours of the plane were offered and for $450, you could take a 30 minute flight aboard the plane. I did!
