The Krewe of Lafitte participated in Saturday's events at the Pirate Fest, which began for many members with lunch at a local German pirate hangout (it must have been a German pirate place because they kept playing "Roll Out The Barrel"). Pirate Fest was hosted by the Krewe of Dominique Youx included a tailgating party, late afternoon parade, evening meal and frivolity at the Back Porch Restaurant, and a breathtaking late night fireworks display. The evening ended in fine fashion as FSU beat UM... again (sorry Michael).
