T-6 Texan Advanced Trainer
The AT-6 “Texan” was the most widely used advanced trainer in the world during WWII and the Korean War. Over 15,000 AT-6's were built beginning in 1938; most were destined for USAAF use. The Navy version was designated the SNJ. Blue Angels Airshow, NAS Pensacola, November 3, 2012.
