Opposing Passes
There are a variety of Opposing Passes performed during the show by the #5 Lead Solo Pilot, Lcdr Cary Rickoff, and the #6 Opposing Solo Pilot, Lcdr Juluis Bratton. These maneuvers include passes where the two jets cross each other less than 100 ft. apart flying at a combined closing speed greater than 1,000 mph or 1,466 ft. per second!
These maneuvers are often flown at an elevation of about 200 ft.
