Cardinal Family
After weeks of observation, I have learned that Sam and Edna gave birth to at least three babies (possibly 4), two girls and one male. Now "teenagers", they're easy to spot at my bird feeder. Like their parents, they prefer sunflower seeds. The male is already showing some of his red plumage. The girls are not yet showing plumage like their mother and none have begun to show a mature orange beak. May 12, 2020.
