These birds were photographed in Ted and Pam Griffin's back yard on a beautiful early fall Sunday afternoon. This was my first hawk photos of the year (not sure what kind) and I wondered how close I could get before the hawk flew away. I found out... not very.
There are a couple of male Cardinal photos at the end but most of the shots are of Pam's hummingbirds. They are so small it's really hard to capture them in sharp focus as you will see in some of the pictures.
