Mockingbird
Mockingbirds are songbirds with a small head, thin bill, broad, short wings, and long legs and tail. They enjoy making their presence known and can imitate the calls of other birds. They will aggressively chase away other birds who enter their territory. This bird was photographed late in the afternoon in my front yard.
