Each Pensacola Beach Blue Angels performance began with a Fat Albert flyby. Flown by an all-USMC air crew, this beautiful (to me) and muscular cargo plane had the crowd applauding and cheering as the pilots made several low passes each day. The view from our 14th. floor condo provided an outstanding observation platform. We were often at eye level or looking down on the planes as they flew past us. In some of the images you can actually see the beach and buildings reflected in the airplane's paint!
