F4U with F-35'S
F4U CORSAIR with F-35's. The F4U fought in the WWII and Korean wars. During WWII, it was considered to be one of the best fighter planes operating in the Pacific conflict against Japan. The F4U was flown by USN and USMC pilots, mostly from captured islands as the long nose made it difficult for pilots to safely land on aircraft carriers.
