Having previously visited Karnak Temple at night to watch their Light and Sound show, we returned the next day time so we could see this magnificent temple in full awesome detail. Karnak is the modern day name for an ancient site known as the Temple of Anum at Thebes. Karnak is believed to have been a temple of worship and an ancient observatory. It is arguably the largest place of worship in the world. It's ruins cover over 200 acres of land and dates back to 2,000 B.C. You can view photos of Karnak Temple at night by clicking here.
